During the HR Tech Conference, one of the industry’s leading events for HR and HRIT professionals, we got the latest on the veteran HR technology providers and market leaders as well as some of the newest tech solutions on the block. Fortunately, we had a team of people working the Expo to find the gems and we are going to share what we learned with you.

In this episode of Spilling The Tea on HR Tech, host Stacey Harris, together with her colleagues, breaks down the hottest trends and tools they discovered during HR Tech.

After 2 years of pandemic travel, they all agreed that this year’s HR Tech Conference allowed them to reconnect with their colleagues, vendors, and the other members of the HR Tech community. A much needed opportunity!

Some of the key findings they discuss:

  • Growing desire for opportunities to learn is supported and encouraged by employers

  • On-demand pay programs as an additional employee perk and a tool to address long-time HR issues

  • New and key players in AI and Analytics that can help address HR issues

  • Importance of creating a better employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding, and lots of options

  • More HR Technology being adopted by companies under 50 employees and as small as 5

  • Work/life balance conversations were prevalent especially for frontline workers

  • A focus on the strategic HR function and putting the human back in HR

  • Not to mention the bigger, fancy, glossy booths!
