Onwards HR certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise

Onwards HR, a data-driven separation platform that automates severance and mitigates human capital risk, recently received its certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Greater Women's Business Council Certification Committee, a regional partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Founded by Sarah Rodehorst and Janice Yu Edwards in 2017, Onwards HR is owned and operated by women. “We are honored to be certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise,” said Sarah Rodehorst, Co-Founder and CEO of Onwards HR. “We hope to help pave the way for other women entrepreneurs, especially in the technology space.”

The WBENC certification process included an in-depth review of the business and site inspection to confirm Onwards HR is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women. By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
